Dear friends,
Bilingual (English/Japanese) ballet classes on Thursdays and Sundays and a pas de deux class on Fridays are taught by Grigory Barinov, former Soloist of the National Ballet of Japan.
The ballet class level is usually beginner to intermediate, and classes include Barre, Center, and Allegro (jumps). On Sundays, the ballet classes are followed by optional 30-minute pointe classes, which can also be taken in soft ballet shoes if you do not have pointe shoes.
The pas de deux class is also beginner to intermediate and consists of a short warm-up on pointe at the barre, basic poses/movements in the center, and is followed by turns/technical elements.
Classes are based on (but not limited to) the Vaganova ballet method.
School-age to adult students are welcome.
Any level of experience is welcome. However, it is recommended that you are familiar with basic ballet terminology so you can follow the class comfortably.
Private ballet lessons in English are also available. Lesson times are arranged individually upon request.
Our studio is a 1-minute walk from Shinjuku-gyoemmae Station Exit 2 (Marunouchi Line).

While our studio primarily serves students living in Japan, we also welcome travelers visiting Japan on a short-term basis.
The Tourist Drop-In Option is available for visitors staying in Japan on a short-term basis who would like to attend bilingual English/Japanese classes at our studio.
Prices for the Tourist Drop-In Option:
90-minute ballet class: ¥5000
30-minute add-on pointe class: ¥2000
Note: The 30-minute add-on pointe class is optional. You can participate in soft ballet shoes if you do not have pointe shoes.
A private lesson in English is also available at 15000 yen per hour (including the studio rental fee).
No registration or other fees are required for the Tourist Drop-In Option.

This option is available for visitors staying in Tokyo on a short-term basis who would like to attend bilingual English/Japanese classes at our studio.
Class prices for the Tourist Drop-In Option are as follows:
90 minutes: 5000 yen
60 minutes: 4000 yen
30 minutes: 2000 yen
A private lesson is also available at 15000 yen per hour, including the studio rental fee.
